Hi, I'm Tracy Dawn Brewer, and every Brewtifully design starts with my pencil and paintbrush. I'm a surface pattern designer who has been independently selling my patterns for over a decade, and today I pour that work into hand-painted mahjong mats, tiles and gifts that make game night feel like a gallery.

Hand-drawn, hand-illustrated, hand-painted

Every pattern begins as original artwork I create by hand: folk-art botanicals, chinoiserie gardens, Roaring '20s art deco, prairie cowgirls and playful holiday characters. No AI art, ever. What you see on your table started on my studio table.

Made to order, made for someone

Every piece is made to order, so you choose the design, colorway and size. That makes a Brewtifully mat more than a game accessory. It's a personalized gift chosen for the person who receives it, not pulled off a shelf. I also create custom mahjong mats for players, clubs, organizations and events.

Collaborations with mahjong brands

My artwork is featured in the Brewtifully x Mahjong by SI artist collection of 57 mats, and Miss Mahjong's Deep Green Garden Party mat is reproduced from one of my original paintings.

A little more about me

I taught traditional and digital art at the Canton Museum of Art, hosted mahjong game nights in my Canton, Ohio studio, and was honored as a Woman of Distinction by Soroptimist International of Canton/Stark County. I also paint murals and concert posters and bring my illustrations to life through hand animation. Today I create from my home studio in Seattle, Washington.
